We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Mid-Level Civil Engineering Project Manager position in our Cleveland office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and possess the professional and interpersonal skills to make a positive impact on our firm and the clients we serve. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently.

Pay: $85,000 – 133,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

MID-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Design and manage all aspects of municipal and private engineering projects including:
• Proposal preparation
• Develop a proposed project fee
• Reports and studies
• Design and construction documents
• Manage subconsultants
• Scheduling, coordination, and budgeting
• Provide design and permitting of municipal and private engineering projects including but not limited to sanitary sewers, sanitary lift stations, storm sewers, stormwater design, site plans and minor roadway projects.
• Balance performing design work and business development efforts.
• Project/task and client management.
• Ability to develop new client relationships and maintain existing client relationships.
• Ability to work in a team setting collaboratively with a group of transportation, water resource and site/civil engineers.
• Ability to identify project issues and facilitate resolution.
• Able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and conditions.
• Ability to develop junior staff.
• Coordinate with subconsultants.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Provide professional sealed plan sets for clients.

MID-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• EIT required; PE license preferred.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of related experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required
• Project or task management experience preferred
