LJB Engineering is a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with multiple business lines including Transportation, Water Resources, Geospatial and Site Design, Buildings Structure Design and Safety/Fall Protection Design/Installation. Our diverse expertise, client base, and geographies have enabled LJB to serve clients in all 50 U.S. states and several countries.

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full-time Entry Level Civil Engineering position. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently

Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

ENTRY-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Design all aspects of municipal and private engineering projects including sanitary sewers, stormwater design, site plans and minor roadway projects.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans and site designs in conformance with client requirements and company standards.
• Work closely with project managers to complete a variety of site civil design tasks.
• Coordinate with survey crews.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of the client’s standards.
• Able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and conditions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

ENTRY-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required
• EIT preferred

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required
• 0-3 years of experience
